Before you start
You have signed up and opened the confirmation email; its button signed you in on the Billing page. Two things to keep in reach: your admin email and password, which are yours alone and reach settings, logs and billing, and your shop code, which is on your Overview and in that email. The shop code is half of what your technicians will use to sign in; it never changes.
The dashboard has six tabs: Overview, Techs, Logs, Inspection, Settings and Billing. The steps below use three of them.
Step 1: Choose a plan
Nothing can be logged until the shop has a plan, so this comes first. On Billing, pick the plan that covers your number of pedicure chairs and choose monthly or yearly. Monthly plans start with a fourteen-day free trial; the card you enter is not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then. When you come back from checkout, Billing names the next step.
Step 2: Set the tech password
Your technicians share one password, and you choose it. On Settings, under Tech access, type the tech password twice and save. The shop code sits right above it. Two rules: make it something the team can remember, and do not make it the same as your admin password, because everyone who works at the shop will know the tech one. Until it is set, the Overview says so and nobody can sign in to the tech screen.
Step 3: Add tech names
On Techs, add the name of everyone who will log cleanings. These names are the pick-list on the tech screen, and each logged cleaning carries the name that was picked, so use the names your team goes by. When someone leaves, archive their name here and set a new tech password in Settings; their old entries keep their name.
Step 4: Set up the tablet and log the first cleaning
On the shop’s tablet or phone, open readypedi.com/login, choose the Tech tab, and enter the shop code and the tech password. The tech screen stays signed in, so this is done once per device. It shows a board of your chairs, the sign-in form for a cleaning, and the day’s entries below.
To log a cleaning: pick your name, pick the chair, pick what you did, and tap Log entry. The date and time are stamped by the system, never typed. The choices map onto the printed form’s columns, which is why they keep the form’s English names:
| Choice | When to pick it | On the form |
|---|---|---|
| Regular Cleaning | After each client: the basin cleaned and disinfected between clients. | After Client |
| End of Day | Once at close, on every chair that was used: the flush and disinfect that ends the day. | End of Day |
| Not Used | A chair that saw no client that day. The form still needs the row. | Not Used |
| Bi-Weekly | An add-on to a Regular Cleaning every fourteen days: the deep disinfection. The board shows which chairs are due. | Bi-Weekly |
The first entry you log turns the last dot on the Overview green. The cleaning procedure itself and the form’s box rules are in their own guides.
Printing for an inspection
On Logs, choose the window and the chair and print; the app stamps your entries onto TDLR’s own form, one record per chair. For an inspector at the door, the tech screen’s Inspection records button opens a view with nothing but the records and a date range, safe to hand over, showing the last sixty days the rule asks for.
Frequently asked questions
Does each technician need their own account?
No. The shop has one shared tech screen, like a tablet at the station. Every technician signs in with the same shop code and tech password, then picks their own name from the list before logging. There are no individual logins to hand out or take back.
Can we use more than one tablet or phone?
Yes. Sign in on each one with the shop code and the tech password. Every device shows the same chair board and the same records, so a cleaning logged on one appears on the others.
Can I change the language later?
Yes, under Settings. The setup instructions, the tech screen's hints and the sign-in pages follow it. Records and the printed form stay in English.
Does the printed form change with the language?
No. It is TDLR's English form, BAC-FI-004-E, whichever language the app shows. TDLR also publishes the same form in Vietnamese as BAC-FI-004-V; the columns are identical, so the printed English form is the same record to an inspector.
What happens when a technician leaves?
Archive their name under Techs so it leaves the pick-list, then set a new tech password under Settings so the old one stops working on every device. The cleanings they already logged keep their name.
This guide describes ReadyPedi as it works today; the buttons and tabs are named as they appear in the app. The rule requirements are restated from 16 TAC §83.108 in plain language and are not legal advice; TDLR’s rules are the authority.
